The Polish woodworking industry is currently comprised of several thousand well-known and reputable companies. These organizations are engaged in production, distribution and service. In effect we proudly hold the second place among the largest markets of producers of windows and doors in Europe and the title of the biggest exporter of PVC windows and wood on the Old Continent.
The immense popularity of products made in Poland is depicted by the unhampered economy, noted by a 300 percent increase in foreign export value in the years 2005 – 2010. In 2005 this volume fluctuated around 370 million euros. At present it is estimated to be 900 million Euro. Mainly plastic products are being exported, although the share of wooden products in demand is on al level of almost 40%. The windows and doors produced in Poland, to a large extent, are sold to the European Union’s markets. They import 93% of the Polish woodworking industry’s production volume.
The constantly growing prosperity of Polish products from the window and door industry is caused both, by the longstanding industry traditions, as well as the continuous modernization of the technical facilities. This is also made possible through the development of production technologies, which were elaborated by the country’s most excellent specialists. It is the guarantee of the present and future success of the Polish fenestration joinery industry.
